Marty Buck is a graduate student in Hispanic Linguistics and a teaching assistant in the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies. His broad research interests include languages/dialects in contact, romance (socio)linguistics, and language teaching. In particular, he is interested in Spanish dialect contact in Chicago and Spanish/Italian contact in Italy.
