Dr. Kim Potowski to be a featured speaker at Elgin’s dual language academy for parents
Hispanic Linguistics Professor Kim Potowski will be the keynote speaker at Elgin's school district 46's first ever dual language academy for parents. Dr. Potowski specializes in issues related to bilingualism among heritage learners.
This half day event on November 5th is intended to assist parents in the district's immersion program to better prepare students for bilingualism and biliteracy, and also celebrates the district's multiculturalism.
