Maryann Parada awarded ANS 2015 Emerging Scholar Award
The American Name Society has just selected Maryann Parada, Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies, for its 2015 Emerging Scholar Award. The title of her submission was “Ethnolinguistic emblems in Latino Chicago: Attitudes of the second generation toward names and naming.”
