Congratulations to the Italian program at UIC!

Congratulations to the Italian program at UIC, recipient of several contributions and donations from 2017-2018. This is a testimony to the program's essential role in promoting Italian language and culture in Chicago and the United States.

Contributions include:

  • $16,700 from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to support the teaching of Italian at UIC, 2017-2018
  • $2,000 from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize a foreign language teaching pedagogy workshop for teachers of Italian
  • $2,000 from a private donor to support students’ study abroad in Italy
