Download iCal FileThe Ninth Chicago Graduate Conference in Hispanic, Luso-Brazilian, and Latinx Studies invites graduate students to submit proposals examining the multifaceted nature of crises —whether aesthetic, environmental, political, or ethical— across history and into the present. Inspired by our time’s urgent and intersecting crises, we seek to foster discussions beyond viewing crises as mere disruptions. Instead, we aim to explore how crises act as pivotal lenses through which we can critically reassess life, culture, politics, and meaning.
