Abstract:

We will report on an on-going experiment testing whether idioms retain their idiomatic meaning if one of the terms of the idiom is code-switched. The ultimate purpose of the study is to test the hypothesis that the bilingual's lexicons are fully integrated within one competence system in a distributed morphology model.
